Where friction becomes matter.

1. Attridium is born from friction

Attridium Records begins with the idea that creation does not happen in purity, but in encounter: between human and machine, cultures, genres, intention and error, control and unpredictability, and between what a person imagines and what a tool returns.

That friction is not a problem to eliminate. It is creative matter.

2. AI-native. Human-directed.

Artificial intelligence may participate at every level of the creative process: composition, arrangement, voice, production, image, video and tools that do not yet exist.

This does not transfer responsibility for the work to the machine. Intention, choice, refusal, selection, transformation and the decision to consider a work finished remain human acts.

3. ATTRON

An ATTRON is the smallest unit of creative friction: a difference between generations, an error that opens an unexpected direction, the meeting of musical languages, or a technical limitation transformed into an aesthetic choice.

4. ATTRIVO

ATTRIVO is the process through which ideas, people, tools, cultures and generative systems are brought into relation and modify one another. Generation is not completion. An output can be regenerated, cut, rewritten, recomposed, performed, replaced, contaminated or abandoned.

5. ATTRIDIUM

ATTRIDIUM is what remains: the matter produced by the process. Its value does not come from the purity of its origin, but from the transformation that produced it.

6. Provenance is part of the work

Every work released by Attridium should have a reconstructable provenance. When applicable, Attridium preserves human sources, versions, generative outputs, tools used, later interventions, authorizations, contributors, masters and the fundamental decisions that led to publication.

7. Rights before release

The technical possibility of creating something does not automatically imply the right to publish it. Attridium verifies, as reasonably as possible, the rights connected to tools, outputs, human contributions, samples, images, voices and other elements of a release.

8. Transparency without spectacle

Attridium does not hide the use of artificial intelligence. At the same time, the use of AI does not by itself define the identity or value of a work. Technology is part of the process, not the mandatory subject of the work.

9. No genre purity

Attridium does not seek stylistic purity. Works may emerge from friction between genres, periods, cultures, languages, territories and technologies. Contamination is not decoration. It must alter the matter.

10. Difference is not randomness

Unpredictability is not an automatic value. Being strange is not enough. Being new is not enough. Being generated is not enough. Deviation matters when it produces identity, meaning, tension or a possibility that did not exist before.

11. The Human Return

The ideal endpoint of Attridium is not necessarily the digital master. When a work born through generative tools can leave the machine and return to human hands, the process enters a new phase.

Human idea → AI instrument → generation → human transformation → human performance.

Human performance does not retroactively legitimize AI. It transforms the material again. The output becomes repertoire. Generation becomes performance. The circle closes by returning to the human who opened it.

12. Human performance is transformation, not reproduction

Attridium does not ask musicians to imitate the machine perfectly. The distance between master and performance creates new friction — and therefore new matter.

13. Artists before systems

Attridium may use the same tools across different projects, but it does not aim to produce interchangeable artists. The label provides a common method, not a common sound.

14. Technology will change. The principle should survive.

Generative tools will become obsolete. Platforms, technical possibilities and legal frameworks will change. Attridium should not depend on the permanence of any specific software or model.

The principle remains: place different elements in friction, take responsibility for the transformation, and give form to the matter that emerges.
